Profile: Emily Stimmel is a non-profit do-gooder, working in fundraising and communications for an organization that helps women struggling with addiction. She lives just outside Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and two cats, Bettie and Stu. A part-time crafter, Emily has been an organizer of Pittsburgh’s premier indie craft fair, Handmade Arcade, since 2009. Emily enjoys decorating and renovating her 1925 home, shopping for vintage treasures, seeking out roadside oddities, cooking, reading, and roller-skating. If you invite her to a party at your house, you’re likely to find her cuddling with your pets (or hovering over the food table).
